ARRIVAL TIME:

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the class start time - this will allow our experienced Motivators to make sure you feel comfortable and answer any questions you may have. Come dressed in comfortable workout attire and we will take care of the rest! If you are a new rider and arrive within 5 minutes of the class, we may ask you to book into another class as there isn't enough time to properly get you signed in, waivers signed and set you up properly on the bike to have the best experience possible. Thank you for your understanding!

CANCELLATION POLICY:

You may cancel reservations up to 6 hours prior to the scheduled start time of your enrolled class. Reservations canceled after this time, or no-shows, will not be subject to a refund and will be charged as if you attended the class.

WAITLIST POLICY:

If a class is full, you will be added to a waitlist. If a rider has not checked in at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled class, their spot will be given away to the next student on the waitlist. Any riders who arrive after class has begun will not be allowed entry to the class. Please note that if you are on the waitlist, you must intend to come to the class. If you no longer are able, it is the responsibility of the rider to remove yourself from the waitlist, and late cancellations still apply if you are added to the class roster from the waitlist within the late cancellation window.

REFUND POLICY:

YYC Cycle reserves the right to assess refund requests on a case-by-case basis and will be offered at the company's discretion.

AGE REQUIREMENTS:

Riders must be a minimum of 12 years of age to ride, with a minimum shoe size of unisex 5, with the ability to ride safely and comfortably on our equipment (bikes) determined at the discretion of YYC and YEG Cycle staff. If the rider is 12 years of age, but cannot fit our smallest shoe size, or cannot safely and comfortably use our equipment, that rider will not be permitted to ride.

All riders under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

All riders under 18 years of age must complete a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian prior to riding.

If you'd like to fill out the waiver prior to coming to our studios, send us an email to:

Bike Setup

We want to make sure that your experience within our studios is the absolute best and this includes feeling fully comfortable and ready on your bike. Our team is knowledgeable and helpful to ensure that you’re set up properly when you first arrive at our studios, but here are a few important tips to get you started!

Handlebar Height

Your handlebars should be slightly higher than your seat height, and close enough that you maintain a 45-degree angle between your arms and body while holding on to your handlebars. If you are sitting too upright, reposition your handlebars further out. If you feel you are reaching too far forward, adjust your handlebars closer to you.

Seat Height

Seat position and height are really important for an effective and safe ride. Adjust your seat height to your hip height, while standing next to the bike. Make sure you have your shoes on too. This will ensure that you have a little bend in your knee (not too much, and also not too little) while pedaling. If you have too much of a bend in your knees while pedaling, you need to raise your seat up. If your legs are hyperextending while riding, lower your seat slightly.

Seat Position

While seated on the bike, bring your feet to 9:00 and 3:00 on the pedals, you should be able to hang a yo-yo from your knee and have it land in the middle of your foot (falling on the opposite side of your shoe clips). If your knees are too far forward, over your toes, adjust your seat back. If your knee, at position 9:00 and 3:00 on the rotation, falls too far behind the center of your foot, adjust the seat forward.
